ABOUT


Genoveva Armero is a Spanish/Australian artist based in London, United Kingdom. Her career began through self-taught oil painting, leading to a bronze award in easel painting at the 2020 Rio Tinto Martin Hansen Memorial Art Awards. Following the awards she chose to pursue a formal education in art at the University of the Art London, securing a BA(Hons) in Fine Art Painting in July 2024.  Genoveva now works as a freelance artist with a practise predominantly focusing on portraiture and landscapes done in oil paint and soft pastels. Her work is influenced by impressionism and focuses on family, life in London in the 2020s, and grappling with societal pressures.
